Event Roundup: What to Look Forward to This Weekend

The Houston Dynamo will play Sporting Kansas City on Saturday evening.
Theater District Houston will hosts its 24th annual Transcanada Theater District Open House on Sunday, marking the official launch of the fall performing arts season. The event is a free, family-friendly festival, including free performances, which will take place at venues throughout the Theater District.
The Museum of Fine Arts is hosting their Family Zone this Sunday, 1-4 p.m., which will include family-friendly games, activities, books and mini-tours of the galleries. This event will include an exploration of the work of Pipilotti Rist.
The Houston Dash will play North Carolina Courage on Sunday evening.
Houston Restaurant Weeks continues through Sept. 4; be sure to take advantage of this and dine out for a good cause. Enjoy delicious lunches, brunches and dinner, benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
