Houston Astros #EarnHistory
Our very own Houston Astros are in the playoffs. They play the Red Sox today at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. See the postseason schedule and whether you’re one of the lucky ones rooting for the Astros at Minute Maid or on TV, don your orange and root for the ‘Stros!
The Original Greek Festival
Opa! Experience Greek culture at this fun festival, which began Thursday evening and continues through Sunday evening. Enjoy live music, dance programs, authentic Greek food, cathedral tours and more at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
Party at the Pavilion
Tonight, join the City of Bellaire and enjoy live music and a fun night out, 7-9 p.m.
Movies in the Park
Join the City of West U for a fun Movies in the Park this evening. Enjoy watching Beauty and the Beast in Colonial Park, 7-9 p.m.
Whole Lotta Yoga
Yoga enthusiasts, head to Levy Park on Saturday for whole Lotta Yoga, a one-day festival including 30-minute classes, group workshops, acro yoga, live music and dance, food trucks and more. The festival, benefiting Whole Planet Foundation, takes place from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
KBR Kids Day
Bring the family for a day of fun at the 11th annual KBR Kids Day on Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at Guadalupe Park. There will be tons of hands-on activities, entertainment and performers, face painters, balloon artists, a rock climbing wall and more. There will also be a birds of prey show and a Halloween costume parade. Families are encouraged to bring school supplies to be donated to East End elementary schools.
Fall Biannual Art Stroll
Wander around Sawyer Yards studios browsing local art of all kinds of mediums at the Fall Biannual Art Stroll. The event takes place on Saturday, 12-9 p.m.
