Southside winter wonderland

Mark your calendars for Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., for the 6th Annual Southside Place Winter Wonderland Carnival. Brannon and Charissa Fitch (pictured) and many other volunteers are planning the special event. Families are invited to visit with Santa Claus, play carnival games, climb on inflatables, ride a mechanical bull and scale a rock climbing wall. Don’t forget gloves for the huge pile of snow. Enjoy a silent auction, shopping bazaar, coffee and donuts, pizza, Chick-fil-A, Phoenicia box lunches and drinks. For info, contact Alyson Haas at 512-423-8328. Proceeds will go toward improving the Southside Place Fire Truck Park and the surrounding grounds.
