The Fonz, actor and bestselling author Henry Winkler, entertained a crowd at the Houston Country Club to raise funds for The Blue Bird Circle at the fall luncheon. This women’s volunteer organization has a resale shop to support four medical entities. The master of ceremonies, KPRC chief meteorologist Frank Billingsley, recounted how he had met Winkler as a child. President Ellen Stough and luncheon chair Anna Hodge were overwhelmed with stories about Henry’s children’s book, Hank Zipzer: the World’s Greatest Underachiever.
