Winston, age 3

Hi. I’m Winston. My dad thinks I was named after his favorite historical figure, Sir Winston Churchill, but we don’t know for sure. That was my name when my family adopted me at the Houston Humane Society when I was 11 months old. I’m a black and white border collie mix and have a soft, shiny coat, if I do say so myself. My mom knew I was “the one” at our “meet and greet” when she massaged me behind my ears. We totally bonded, and I moved to my new home in Bellaire. Soon, I took an obedience test (without taking the course) and passed with flying colors! My family thinks I’m so smart I’m ready for UT – Plan II! My favorite activities are swimming laps, chasing seagulls on the beach, meeting new friends (two- and four-legged), playtime with my doggie treats and meditating with my mom. I’m pretty chill.
