Shop ‘til you drop

Pat Wallace, Jordan Whittle and Kelley Sobiesk (pictured, from left) along with over 70 Houston Tri Delta sorority alumnae volunteered at the SALE benefiting Texas Children’s Cancer Center at the Bayou City Event Center. The event has helped raise over $700,000 in four years to fight pediatric cancer. Co-chairs Dee Dee Robinson and Laura Williams, along with other volunteers, helped organize local vendors and boutiques to draw in over 1,000 shoppers. Proceeds from ticket sales, underwriting and donations are expected to bring in nearly $200,000 to support pediatric cancer research – a record for the event.
