Twenty exchange students from Dalian, China, recently visited Lamar High School. Host families opened their homes and engaged them in local activities like shopping at The Galleria, visiting museums, attending the Houston Auto Show, exploring the Rice area and more. They went to restaurants around town, and a few attended a Rockets game. Many families also got together and had dinner as a group in various homes. The students from Dalian have been coming to Lamar for over 20 years, and every summer, Lamar offers a China trip to students who would like to visit Lamar’s sister school there.
