Genevieve, age 5

My name is Genevieve, and I am a 5-year-old blue whippet. I was named after the children’s story Madeline. My two siblings really wanted a dog like Madeline’s, so I answer to the French pronunciation and the American pronunciation. For short, you can call me G. I speak whippet, English and Norwegian, even though my family thinks I only understand the word treats. I love treats! I also love to run, and I am FAST. I love to chase after squirrels and take long naps. I have not met many whippets here in Bellaire, so I have an Instagram account where I keep up with fellow whippets from all over the world.
