Peaches, age 13

Hi. My name is Peaches, and I am a 13-year-old American Cocker Spaniel. I never stray too far from my home on Rice Boulevard because I am so happy there. My two dog neighbors on either side of us are Jett and Gaucho; sometime we talk through the fences. I sit and watch people and dogs go down the sidewalk from my favorite couch – sometimes I bark. Sometimes I don’t. I enjoy watching my mom cook because if she drops something on the floor I get to help her clean it up. Because of my age I do not hear very well, but thank goodness I am great at charades! Hopefully soon they will invent hearing aids for dogs. My favorite hobbies are sleeping, guarding the house sometimes, sleeping and doing tricks for treats.
