Smart secret
A Secret Garden Spring Style Show & Luncheon by the Houston Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi – which supports literacy efforts – featured a garden-pathway backdrop for the flowing and flowered fashions by Dillard’s. The models, children of all ages and members, wore butterfly hair adornments and hats and threw kisses at the appreciative audience. Pi Beta Phi Houston Alumnae Club Foundation president Suzanne Gerum Stiles, co-chairs Katherine Moore Jones and Melissa Milto Knauth, and the emcee, KTRK-TV reporter Christine Dobbyn, were busy bees. Susie McGee, Gail Orr, Evie Rawlinson and Christine Williams helped plant the seeds of literacy too.
