When Angela A. met Kevin M. through the online Coffee Meets Bagel dating app, seeds sprouted as their mocha brewed. After the three-hour date the couple’s unfiltered attraction percolated into 11 dates in two weeks. They married and partied outside under café lights and the stars at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park on a perfect night on March 3. During their first dance as a wedded couple, sparklers flared for an “awe” moment. A groom’s cake with silhouetted safari animals at sunset gave nod to Kevin’s African culture; six of his family members flew in from Nairobi, Kenya. Love continued to sprout as attending children took glow sticks and spelled out “Love” in super-sized letters on the grounds near the party space. Parents of the couple, Cindy and Brian A. and Rose and Gerald M., joined the well-wishers in line with lighted balloons as the couple left in a pedal cart with “Just Married” across the back.
