A group of 25 West U seniors took an adventure to Round Top. Pictured (from left) are Bill and Ann Hornbeak, Sandra Smith, Julia Lever, Dick Anderson, Frank Carlson, Joanne Go, Ginger Bown, Penelope Jank and Nan Beisner. They visited Hodges Farm and La Bahia, and had lunch at The Kenney Store. They also stopped at the store Junk Gypsy, where the owner, Jolie Sikes, was on hand to welcome them. They finished the excursion with a stop at Royers Pie Haven. The weather was beautiful for their outing, and Harris County Precinct 3 provided free bus transportation from Houston.
