Kathy and John Orton (pictured) and other Alley Theatre board members and guests enjoyed a special evening at the Alley Theatre celebrating the show The Cake, by Bekah Brunstetter. Among the guests in the Texas Room were director Jackson Gay, board president Butch Mach, Alley interim artistic director James Black, show sponsors Ron and Demi Rand and Jane and Larry Wagner, Lynn Wyatt, and guest judge Ana Lisa Garza. The highlight was the special dessert – Pink Lemonade Cake – significant to the show and also Brunstetter’s favorite dessert.
