Back-to-School Health Fair
The Rotary Club of Memorial-Spring Branch partnered with the Spring Branch Family Development Center for the Back-to-School Health Fair. Pictured (back row, from left) are Gwen Corolla, Ashok Garg, Suzy Barbee, Roy Martinez, Bill Hall, David Cornell, (back row, from left) Claudia Castro, Lawrence Barris, Sheila Franklin, Carter Franklin, club president James Brown and Dona Burke. The two collaborated to create this event 13 years ago and have watched it grow to one of the largest in the Greater Houston area with additional support from the Spring Branch Management District and SBISD. Thousands attended the event to prepare the community for the upcoming school year. Children received free immunizations, backpacks and box lunches. Parents and guardians received wellness checks and information from community agencies.
