Head to the Houston Food Fest at Hermann Park with an appetite - look forward to more than 70 food vendors, games, live music and more.
Happy Friday! Here are some ideas of what to do this weekend:
Music on the Plaza
This summer, MFAH is presenting a free summer music series highlighting live performances from local artists. This Friday is the last one in this summer. Enjoy cocktails and a food cart and explore the Museum’s new outdoor space Friday evening starting at 5 p.m.
National Geographic Photo Camp Pop-Up Exhibition
In partnership with the National Geographic Society and with support from 21st Century Fox, Houston Center for Photography invites the community to reflect on the past year post-Harvey and celebrate the work of 20 Houston-area students who show us life after the storm. On Friday evening, there will be a pop-up exhibit in HCP’s main gallery for a night of reflection, storytelling and photography.
Market in the Park
Head to Evelyn’s Park for its Market in the Park on Saturday morning. Browse through arts and products from local vendors while enjoying the park.
Houston Food Fest
This Saturday afternoon, there will be more than 70 food vendors at Hermann Square Park, along with live music, games, activities and more for Houston Food Fest. Bring your appetites and look forward to a fun day.
Chill at the Houston Zoo
This summer, The Houston Zoo has been staying open late on Fridays and Saturdays so visitors can enjoy exploring the zoo in cooler temps. This Friday-Saturday will conclude the Evening Chill, so take advantage while you can! On Saturday, there will be games for the whole family to enjoy, plus music and other fun.
