Sadie, age 6

I live with my adopted brothers and sisters in Spring Branch. Mom used to work at a vet clinic, and I came in as a sick kitten. She got me healthy again and took me home. I met my nearly 20-pound big brother; as a tiny kitten, it was pretty scary, and Mom still has a funny photo of our first meeting. Now I am the boss and also the peacekeeper. If anyone starts to fight I jump in and get everyone to behave. My Mom started an Instagram account for me @sadiefaces because I have such large eyes and an expressive face. I have nearly 5,000 followers and have been offered a potential place in a Cats of Instagram calendar! I am named after a song by one of Mom's favorite bands, Alkaline Trio. I'm one of the only pets in the house not named after a character on her favorite show, Scrubs.
