The West University Elementary School community gathered for Red Apple Morning Coffee to gear up for back-to-school season. Principal John Threet welcomed families and introduced the school’s enrichment curriculums, including the International Festival, which will take place Jan. 24, 2019. Pictured (from left) are Threet and 2019 International Festival chairs Enrica Vagliani, Natesha Tama-Madison and Selin Salerian. The International Festival is typically attended by more than 1,500 students, friends and family members as students work to represent more than 40 countries. Look forward to cultural performances, a passport scavenger hunt, raffle prizes and food tastings from seven continents.
