In summer before school starts, moms Barbara Towne and Dallasites Kelly Secker and Kim Mathews, all friends since preschool, maintain their friendships with a girls’ getaway. All their adult children are in the same age range. They have traveled many miles together over the years, and these four days in Aspen were just enough to catch up and breathe some cooler air. They all love nature, so hikes and shared memories kept them going and laughing.
