Bonjour
Jennifer Luke, who has taught foreign languages at Incarnate Word Academy for 15 years, attended the 91st annual convention of the American Association of Teachers of French in Martinique in the French West Indies this summer. The four-day conference was a gathering of more than 300 French teachers from around the United States and several other countries. Teachers shared ideas and deepened their passion for French language and culture. The conference concluded with an excursion to Petite Terre, a remote desert island among the archipelago of Guadeloupe (Jennifer is pictured here). “It's been so rewarding to come back to Incarnate Word Academy for another school year and share my passion for French language and culture with my students," said Jennifer.
