More than 100 women gathered at Tony’s for the inaugural Women Who Shape Houston Luncheon, focused on raising awareness about safety concerns. The event was co-hosted by Donae Chramosta of The Vintage Contessa, fashion designer Hunter Bell, blogger Caroline Harper Knapp and Crime Stoppers of Houston. Mankarious, executive director of Crime Stoppers, announced the launch of a new podcast, Styling Social Justice, hosted by herself and The Vintage Contessa, which will address public safety. Discussions were led by Rachel Fischer, RN; Kathy McGibbon, from nonprofit Elijah Rising, and Tony Leal, with Professional Protections & Investigations and former chief of the Texas Rangers. In the mix were Crystle Stewart-Sebrechts, Deborah Duncan, Jerri Duddlesten Moore, Nancy Almodovar, Dr. Sheekha Sethi, Beth Muecke, Maria Morales, Natalie Ariz, Michelle Heinz, Brigitte Kalai, Sippi Khurana, Maha Rasheed Khan and more.
