Izzy, age 13

I was originally named Isadora, which quickly morphed into Izzy and Izzydoodle. For many years I have roamed the St. John’s neighborhood making lots of friends, both humans and dogs. Squirrels, birds and cats cannot be put in that category! I particularly love the three grandchildren in my family because they are always excited to hug and pet me. We have spent many happy days together at Pumpkin Park. I have been very fortunate to run on the beaches of Carmel, Calif., for 10 years, spotting dolphins, which I tried to swim to, but never succeeded. I was once featured in the local newspaper running on the beach with a tennis ball in my mouth. Now that photo is featured on Zazzle, appearing on lots of products. These days, arthritis keeps me inside more and more, but I have wonderful memories of a great dog’s life.
