Rooster, age 12

Hi! My name is Rooster. I am a brown and white Jack Russell Terrier. I am a good watch dog for my family and always let them know when someone rings the doorbell. I also bark at other dogs if they walk anywhere near my home. Morning walks with my mama are the highlight of my day and most enjoyable as I greet other friends in the neighborhood. I love to run and jump but need a little help to get on the couch since I damaged both of my ACLs several months ago. The operations were a success even though they were expensive! I guess my family decided I was worth it. Now mama gives me a daily pill for my joints, which really helps me. I am bilingual and speak Spanish and English. Come visit me in the neighborhood!
