Fashionistas and Recipe for Success supporters filled the UnitedHealthcare Foundation Gathering Barn at Hope Farms for Recipe for Success Foundation’s inaugural Fashion in the Fields presented by Neiman Marcus. The event, which included a fashion show and Southern-inspired brunch by Culinaire, raised more than $200,000 to combat childhood obesity. Recipe for Success founder Gracie Cavnar noted that the women were dressed in “farm girl cold weather chic.” The Robert and Janice McNair Children’s Garden was popular with little ones. The interactive space is used by Hope Farms to educate future foodies, with themed garden beds like “Cold Slaw.” Event chairs were Stephanie Fleck and Melissa Sugulas. Child “models” strutted down the catwalk. Emcee was KPRC 2-Houston Life anchor Courtney Zavala. Co-chairs were Courtney Culver Baker, Amanda Boffone, Julie Longoria Chen, Elizabeth Dwyer, Elaine Hixon, Lyndsey Zorich, Melissa Juneau, Neekie Kashani and Summer Smith.
