Lamar lacrosse champs

The Lamar High School Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team won the Cy-Fair Burning Flower Tournament, which included 12 of the top teams from across the Houston area. Lamar won its initial game against Gulf Coast 12-0 and then defeated Kinkaid 9-6. Lamar suffered its only loss in a close match with the Woodlands (6-4). However, the Texans got revenge in the semifinals with a 7-5 victory. In the finals, Lamar defeated Cy-Fair 10-7 to take home the championship.
