Science that sticks
Rummel Creek Elementary School students enjoyed a science fair, with 76 students from Pre-K through fifth grade participating. Fifth grader Salma Dinari won first prize overall for her project looking at the effect of mouthwash on mouth microbes. Kindergartener Olivia McKnight (pictured) won first place for her project that studied which type of adhesive bandage stays on the longest. Fourth graders Tyler Roberts and Carter Maedgen received second place, and fifth graders John Lee and Lorenzo Brichford received third place.
