Magic bus

The 5th Annual Magic Bus Benefit Gala took place at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Approximately 500 guests gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the nonprofit. Guest speakers were Kapil Dev, a cricket legend in India, Manushi Chillar, Miss Universe 2017, and Deval Sanghavi, founder of Dasra, a venture philanthropy fund that operates in India. Magic Bus helps underprivileged children in India rise out of poverty through sports-based programs and mentorship. A child can be sponsored for $25 (1,800 rupees) per year. Approximately $992,000 was raised.
