Four Scouts were awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor ceremony held at Troop 642 sponsored by Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. The new Eagle Scouts (pictured, from left) are Trace LaRue, Joe Pfeifer, William Murphy and Colin McClellan. Trace is a senior at Stratford High School; for his Eagle project, Trace repaired a shed at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church and also sanded and repainted a picnic table on the playground. Joe, a senior at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School, designed and constructed stage equipment for Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School. William, a sophomore at Strake Jesuit, refurbished and landscaped a playground for Gracewood Single Mother’s Home. Colin, a senior at Cypress Ridge High School, built benches and a wind break at Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve. Scoutmaster is Tom Cain.
