Rockin' wedding

Ryan Greenblatt is a professional drummer, so it was no surprise when he jumped on stage to play at his own wedding, but wedding guests were shocked when Alex Roberts followed him up there and joined him on guitar after their “I dos.” The bride and groom played and sang A Hard Day’s Night by The Beatles in front of nearly 300. Alex said she was terrified and the performance was a blur, but after they finished playing, she remembers looking up at their screaming and whistling guests and then turning around and locking eyes with Ryan on the drums. In that moment, she said she understood the rush Ryan gets from playing for a hyped crowd. “It occurred to me, now that we’re married, I get to look forward to a lifetime of discovering ways to share in each other’s passions and joy,” Alex reflected. Alex and Ryan met at Echo Hill Ranch summer camp as kids and reconnected at a honky tonk bar in Austin about seven years ago. The two married at The Astorian.
