Delicious alchemy

Local “foodies” feasted on dishes from some of Houston’s top chefs at the fourth annual Recipe for Success Foundation’s Delicious Alchemy Banquet. This annual dinner party has become the signature event for Recipe for Success founder Grace Cavnar. This year’s event was held in the home of philanthropists Anne and Albert Chao. The 10-course meal was the star of the evening, thanks to the creations of chefs Brandi Key, Drake Leonards, Pedro Angel Garcia, Ryan Pera, Giancarlo Ferrara, Charlie Ho, Hoi Fung, Kiran Verma, Hani Lae and Greg Martin. Some “under 40” board members there were Aashish Parekh and wife Erin and Melissa Sugulas, as well as new board members Amanda Boffone, Elizabeth Dwyer, Kristin and Aaron Bloomquist, and Virginia and Will McMullen.
