Gentry, age 10

My name is Gentry, but my friends and family just call me "G." I can't tell you why I was named Gentry because I am a rescue. At some point in my past, I got broadsided by a car and given up by my family. Luckily, I ended up with Senior Moments Weimaraners, a non-profit rescue group that finds adoptive families for Weims. Now, I'm living the good life here in Houston. I live with another Weim. She's a rescue too. And we have a cat. I love car rides, treats, lying in the sun, chasing lizards in our backyard, snuggling up to every human I meet and barking at other dogs I see on my walks. Even though I have some chronic orthopedic challenges from my car accident, I still manage to sneak up on my mom's bed at night.
