Poppy, age 1

My name is Poppy, and I was adopted in College Station. While I love my Aggies, I’m a Houston girl at heart. I love watching squirrels run along the fence in my backyard and going on family adventures in the car. Looking out the window is my favorite part. My favorite snack is chips, and I meow until my humans share them. I spend most of my days lounging in the sun and napping anywhere I can fit. I can chase my toys for hours and hours without getting tired. My family knows when it’s time to play because of the wild look in my eyes. Since I am not yet 2 years old, I get cranky when it is bedtime. I need my beauty sleep, but I like to wake my owners up as early as I can. Even though they take care of me, I know that I’m really in charge around here.
