Tori Livingstone and Jesse Martin

Track and cross-country athlete Tori Livingstone (pictured, left) is the Houston Junior Preparatory Conference champion for the second year in a row. The River Oaks Baptist School (ROBS) seventh grader, pictured with coach and athletic director Jesse Martin (middle photo, right), had an outstanding season. In cross country, Tori never finished below third place, and her times were on par with varsity runners. She broke the ROBS record in both the 800-meter and 1,600-meter events, as well as in the 4x400-meter relay, as the anchor leg. Coach Teresa Neighbors said, “If she continues to run, stay focused and have fun, she has a chance to earn a track scholarship. There are no words to describe her ability and skills. I’m super proud of her and can’t wait to see what she brings next cross country and track season.”
