Inaugural all-star
Presbyterian School eighth grader Bella Bourlon (pictured, center) won the All-Star most valuable player medal for outstanding pitching, fielding and hitting performances at the All-Star softball tournament held at St. Francis Episcopal Day School. Presbyterian School just added softball and baseball to the athletics program this past season, with the addition of its new practice facility. Bella was a standout varsity player on the school’s inaugural team coached by Leslie Ukandu (pictured on left) and Casey Sax (pictured on right). Before playing for Presbyterian School, Bella played in both the Bellaire Softball League and the West University Softball Association.
