Scotch, age 8

Hello, friends and neighbors! My name is Scotch, and I’ve lived in the neighborhood for more than eight years. Even though I’m a longtime resident, I’m not very social and haven’t met any of you. I prefer to spend my time inside lounging on the sofa or looking out the window. When I’m not sleeping or relaxing (which is not often), my favorite things to do are eat and snuggle. I can also be quite chatty, especially when my mom needs to be reminded that it’s mealtime. I’m sure many of you can relate! To keep in shape, I like to run up and down the stairs of my three-story townhouse as fast as I can. I prefer to do this in the middle of the night when the rest of the house is sleeping – let me correct that –  trying to sleep. I must go nap now.
