Sisters Nora and Kate McQueary recently volunteered at Christian Community Service Center’s Back To School distribution event. The McQuearys, including their mom Kathleen, are members of the Heart of Texas chapter of the National Charity League, a mother-daughter service organization. CCSC’s Back To School program equips about 6,500 low-income students, Pre-K through 12th grade, with school supplies and vouchers for new school uniforms/shoes so they can start the school year off right.
