Breaking records
Stacy Goldstein (pictured) was named The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) National Woman of the Year Runner Up, raising more than $701,000 for cancer cures. She was named the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter 2019 Woman of the Year with a record-breaking fundraising campaign, which led to her National Runner Up title. LLS’s Man & Woman of the Year is a philanthropic competition to raise the most money for cancer cures in a 10-week time frame. Stacy lost her father, Jerry Goldstein, to cancer in the spring of 2018. She, as well as fellow candidates and more than 500 attendees, attended a gala at River Oaks Country Club to celebrate a successful fundraising campaign. See lls.org/texas-gulf-coast.
