Emery varsity cheerleaders are in-sync as they performed their routine to get the crowd excited.
The varsity cheer team kicked the second week of school off with a pep rally after school last week. The booster club handed out cool props, such as sunglasses and noisemakers, to get the students excited about the start of football season. The cheerleaders started the pep rally with a routine and cheer to pump up the crowd of students. The varsity volleyball team and football team played fun games, like musical chairs or sharks and minos. The varsity football went on to win their game against Mount Camel Academy with a mercy ruling score of 65-0. Many teachers and students came to support their beloved Jaguars.
“We were just excited to play in front of our crowd and show what we’ve been working on,” senior and starting center Connor Koenig said.
