Ever since learning how to structure my essays in 3rd grade, I knew I had a passion for writing. I started reading pages from the dictionary to enhance my vocabulary. I am looking forward to being a part of School Buzz; it will be a special privilege to broadcast my insights to my neighborhood. I participate in volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, and tennis occasionally with my mom. I discovered how fun acting is this year, so I decided that I want to take part in the school play and expand my horizons even further. Most people don't know this, but I used to memorize every starting lineup for every team in the NBA at a young age. I think I could still manage to still do that if I tried. Every time I leave Houston, I always get this brief feeling of homesickness. Houston is my home, and there's no other place like it. Within Houston, I attend The Emery/Weiner School, which also has earned a "home" feeling in my heart. It is so unique because there aren't just your typical, cliché social divides. The whole student body embraces the variety around campus. It is not known solely for athletics or the arts, but rather a combination of both. The diversity on campus is profound and accepted by the majority, and I have never seen anything else like it.
