Mackenzie McAnear is a born and raised Houstonian. When she was eight years old, she was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia and was taught how to navigate the world with her new found differences at The Briarwood School. She found her love for reading and writing soon after and is currently pursuing her passions as a senior finishing off her last semester at Stephen F. Austin State University where she is majoring in English and minoring in Creative Writing. During her sophomore through senior year at Briarwood, she was a student correspondent for the School Buzz blog. Now Mackenzie has come back to work with The Buzz as an intern.
