Spooktacular soiree
The Children’s Museum of Houston transformed The Corinthian into “A Wicked Affair” gala, raising near $1.1 million for the museum. Gala cochairs Lyndsey and Bret Zorich (dressed in a modern-take of Tinkerbell with LED light wings and Captain Hook) and Ashley and Walter Weathers (dressed as an enchanting witch and daring Dracula) welcomed guests into a spellbinding mansion, complete with dangling candelabras, sinister owls and sickly-twisted branches. More than 500 guests dressed in creative costumes wandered through hocus pocus hallways and enjoyed wicked food and drink selections. Auction committee, led by Neekie Kashani, included Amanda Boffone, Stacy Johnson, Jenny May, Melissa Sugulas and Hector Villarreal. Witches and wizards danced to the sounds of the Matt Wilson Band as the Astros vs. Yankees game played live across all screens. See what’s happening at The Children’s Museum at cmhouston.org.
