Kate Spade, age 4

My name is Kate Spade, and I love living with my human mom, dad, sister and feline brother Versace. My mother – who had a long retail career and names all her pets after famous clothing designers – named me Kate Spade. I currently weigh in at 85 pounds, and I like to open the cupboard door to get extra snacks. I can’t help myself when food is on the counter. This morning, I ate a whole salami sandwich that my mom was packing for lunch when she turned her back. I couldn’t believe the scream I heard while licking crumbs from my lips. Dad keeps my girly figure in check with daily walks and dog park trips. I really don’t play with the dogs there, but I love that the paparazzi gives me so many hugs. I’m thankful for my big sister who taught me come, sit and shake. My hobby is chasing Versace.
