Legacy Community Health Services’ cocktail party, rescheduled from September due to weather reasons, was held at the home of the Fertitta family. The festive event drew over 375 guests.  Chairs included Paige Fertitta, Sheridan Williams, Elizabeth Petersen, Melissa Mithoff, Hallie Vanderhider, Shannon Hall and Marcus Sloan, Richard Flowers and Angel Rios, and the honoree was Fady Armanious. The event raised more than $390,000 for Legacy’s Little Readers Program presented by H-E-B. Children receive a new book at each well-child visit, and medical providers give their parents a “prescription to read” so they know how important it is to read aloud to their children. Legacy headliners were CEO/executive director Katy Caldwell and chief development officer Chree Boydstun.
