Camp for All

More than 600 supporters gathered at The Revaire for Camp For All’s annual Houston gala, Paint the Town. The festive event helps send 11,000 campers with illnesses or special needs to a 206-acre, barrier-free, non-profit camp outside of Burton, Texas. Co-chairs were Beth Clarke and Lesley Schick, and underwriting chair was Martha White. This year’s gala honored Diann and Mike Lewter and the Mogas family. Plush Party Band provided entertainment and Houston artist DUAL finished a painting on-site to be featured in an auction with 120 other items. Emcee was KPRC Channel 2’s Khambrel Marshall, and more than $920,000 was raised. Anne Marie Buckle, a camper for six years who has autism and PANS, was this year’s speaker. She said, “My friends and I face different challenges every day, but at Camp For All, many of those struggles disappear. No one feels pressured or left out.”
