Introducing Mr. Bellaire

The annual Mr. Bellaire pageant was entertaining as always. The lively pageant features senior boys who participate in a costume contest, dance number and talent show. This year, the contestants were Spenser Dale, Ethan Towber, Nathan Schlitzberger, Jared Cordova, Jack Pittman, Soheil Esmaeili, Dany Ramirez, Daniel Priftis, Carlo Hackenberg, Preston Jong, Lloyd Ford, Alex Stonecypher, Michael Batten, Noor Jahlul, Peyton Bayne and Gene Gopon. The escorts were Giulia Sdringola, Reagan Duffey, Cara Coffman, Eve Fontarosa, Ashley Kennedy, Ashlyn Holly, Emily Reiner, Olivia Mustachia, Emily Hawes, Lauren Ohler, Gabby Wehrung, Julie Fitsch-Mouras, Jessica Hoechstetter, Leigh Vo, Anna Macia and Maddie Wentworth. Judging the event were Kristi Coffey, Buster Adams and Bellaire Mayor Andrew Friedberg. At the end of the night, Gene Gopon was crowned Mr. Bellaire. Gene and his escort, Julie Fitsch-Mouras (pictured), dressed as Mary Poppins and Bert for the costume portion, and Gene sang and played the piano to “Piano Man" by Billy Joel for the talent show.
