Camp Aranzazu’s third annual Holiday Bells and Shells (which took place after the holiday season due to weather conditions) presented by Gordy & Sons Outfitters took place at the Greater Houston Sports Club. Nearly 200 supporters enjoyed an afternoon clay shoot, food catered by Ragin’ Cajun and music by Bayou Roux. Event co-chairs were Wade Sheffield and (pictured, from left) John Bonner and Kim Herzog Bonner. The event raised $238,000, enough to underwrite a week at camp for 300 kids. Camp Aranzazu is a 104-acre, barrier-free camp in Rockport with a mission to enrich the lives of people with chronic illnesses and special needs. Campers come from Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Texas Children’s Hospital, The Tuttle School at Briarwood, Aspire and more.
