They have taste
HSPVA Friends’ 14th Annual Encore Luncheon, Tastemakers, brought together 300 guests to raise funds for The Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. The program opened with performances, including a vibrant spoken word piece presented by creative writing students as well as live music by junior Sarah Grace Kimberly, finalist on Season 15 of NBC’s The Voice, and a band of her fellow music students. Distinguished alumna Rhoda Boone Lane (Visual Arts ’97) was interviewed onstage by Lindsey Brown and Julie Soefer, where she discussed a series of topics ranging from her time at Kinder HSPVA to her work as food director for video for Condé Nast’s Bon Appetit and Epicurious. The luncheon, chaired by Evelyn and Frank Angelle, raised nearly $200,000 for art supplies, technology and more.
