Rylan Whitcomb, an incoming senior at The Kinkaid School, was recognized as a member of the 2020 Semper Fidelis All-Americans program presented by The United State Marine Corps. This prestigious honor is awarded to high school students who face life's battles with conviction and determination to succeed. Rylan’s mentor, Cecie Turlington, was honored as well. Rylan was nominated by multiple individuals including coaches and church youth leaders at St Luke's UMC. She is a four-sport varsity athlete at Kinkaid, where she is on varsity cheer, soccer, lacrosse and track. She also plays club lacrosse for Grit Houston. More than 5,000 athletes were nominated from across the nation, and 98 won.
