An engaging hike

While on a hike in Austin, Catherine Dawson was surprised and happy when Matt Gore proposed. Catherine thought the hike was an outing to celebrate her belated birthday. After experiencing a few moments of shock, she remembered to say yes. The couple then sat and read letters Matt had collected from family and friends. Catherine, who graduated from St. John’s School and Stanford University, first met Matt through a close friend who had worked with Matt post-college. The couple met in Austin, where Catherine moved to begin her medical training at Dell Medical School, and they hit it off quickly.
