Pepper, age 7

My lady rescued me from BARC six years ago, just after my first birthday. Since we live in a high-rise, I’m definitely an indoor kitty. My favorite pastimes are taking leisurely catnaps in sunny spots and sitting on the windowsill scouting out all of the fabulous big birds that fly around here (including Southwest airplanes approaching Hobby). I’m very well-behaved. I have no bad habits, but I do like to gently tap my lady’s nose just before the alarm goes off in the morning. I really don’t like that alarm. The only other thing I don’t like is that vacuum cleaner! Being mostly Siamese, I talk a lot. This is a common trait of our breed. I greet our guests, remind my lady when it’s time to eat and scold her if she’s stayed away too long.
