The 10U Stix Hustlers

Softball players and their dads celebrated Father’s Day weekend at the Father and Me tournament in Splendora. The 10U Stix Hustlers (pictured) won the tournament and continued playing in other tournaments for the next five weekends, leading to Nationals, where they came in fourth place. Coach Juan Garcia prepared the team with practices for small groups of players, so they could keep a safe distance from each other, and led the girls to a winning summer. The Stix team includes (top row, from left) coaches Juan Garcia, Dan Bass, Kris Westbrook and Billy Forney, (middle row, from left) Lucy Burke, Kirsten Moon, Riley Most, Ceci Bass, Isabella Vaquero, Celeste Reed, (bottom row, from left) Kathalina Garcia, Caroline Loper, Lexie Forney, Rebecca Balke, Sadie Westbrook and Penelope England.
